VAST

The goal of our VAST program is to promote lifelong health and well-being of veterans with disabilities through regular participation in a VAST array of physical activities and sports. Any and all veterans are encouraged to volunteer and enjoy some outdoor activities and a sense of camaraderie with fellow veterans.  We offer year-round programming every Wednesday from 9am to noon at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, ME, as well as many 1-day and multi-day activities and camps throughout the year. The Veterans Adaptive Sports and Training (VAST) program is extremely grateful for the generous support from the Run for the Troops Organization. They have donated two Fat Tire Trident Electric-Assist Trikes, and restored the E-Assist components on two of our other E-assist Fat Tire Trikes. Their support enables veterans with disabilities to fully participate in all of our cycling programs and camps alongside fellow veterans on mountain bikes. This inclusion and adaptation for whatever ails a veteran truly helps save lives by never forgetting a service member's sacrifice. We are so very grateful for their support!
